Dear Residents -
While this week we saw the start of spring, the last two days have certainly not felt like it. And unfortunately, starting early Saturday and into Saturday evening, we are expecting heavy rain and potential flooding. Looking at the bright side though, we had beautiful weather last Sunday for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which by all accounts was a huge success.
As a reminder, early voting for the Presidential Primary starts tomorrow at Town Hall. The hours are a bit different this year due to Easter Sunday falling on what would normally be the last day of voting, so please check the schedule before you head over. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Board of Elections at (845) 638-5172 or check out their website.
I have some exciting news for those of you with young children—the Pearl River Chamber of Commerce is bringing back the Easter Egg Hunt. It will be held at the Central Avenue Field in Pearl River this Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Please note that children must bring their own baskets. Happy hunting!
Please join me in wishing good luck to Orangetown resident Cailyn Flynn, who is leaving for Scotland tonight to represent the Inishfree School of Irish Dancing at the World Irish Dance Championships. Break a leg, Cailyn and know that we will be cheering for you all the way from Orangetown!
Have a great weekend and try to stay dry.
Regards –
