Elevate Your Impact Workshop: Support for Paraeducators

Over 200 North Dakota paraeducators attended the Elevate Your Impact with Mind-Brain-Education Practices workshops held throughout August. Facilitated by NESC School Support Specialist, Jess Edwards, participants learned practical strategies to empower students to work independently, stay engaged, and effectively express themselves. Paraeducators from Devils Lake, Mt. Pleasant-Rolla, Minnewaukan, and Warwick engaged in the workshop with others from across the state to enhance student supports in their districts.

Celebrations!

Mrs. Retzlaff, Warwick Public School educator, was awarded the Brooks Running 2024 Inspiring Track and Field Coach of the Year Award! This program honors and rewards high school track and cross-country coaches that go above and beyond to inspire the next generation of runners. She was nominated by a student, track and cross-country participant. One thousand nominations from athletes, families, and community members were submitted resulting in finalists representing four regions. Congratulations, Mrs. Retzlaff!
