UConn and Qatar University Case Competition

Consider applying to participate in a case competition in collaboration with Qatar University! The presentation date is Saturday, November 16th from 8 AM - 12 PM EST (Storrs) and 4 PM - 8 PM AST (Doha).


The application deadline is Monday, October 14th, 2024 at 4:59 PM EST (Storrs) and 11:59 AST (Doha). Applications will be reviewed, and decisions will be communicated out on Friday, October 17th.

Visit to NY Stock Exchange in NYC

Thursday, October 10th

Visit to NY Stock Exchange in NYC for undergraduate School of Business students. Spots are very limited.


Please sign up to be considered to attend only IF you can attend on 10/10. You will receive an email on Friday, 9/27 to confirm if you can participate.


UConn will cover the cost of Metro-North train tickets to/from NYC but students are responsible for making their way to/from the NYSE.


Students who previously visited the NYSE are not eligible.


The schedule of events on 10/10 is as follows:


1 pm - Meet at NYSE (11 Wall Street) outside the security tent

2 pm – 2:45 pm - introductions with NYSE staff and Q&A

2:45 pm – The NYSE Historian will provide a brief overview

3 pm – Meet down on the floor of NYSE for a tour of the NYSE and a look into CNBC’s production operations

3:45 pm – assemble to ring the bell

4 pm – closing bell rung and photos

4:30 pm - depart NYSE
