To ensure a smooth day for you, here are a few housekeeping items to keep in mind. Please share this information with your registered guests.
Conference rooms tend to be chilly. Please be sure to bring a light jacket or sweater.

Venue Information
All Events take place in the Diamond Ballroom of the Conference Center.

Follow signs for the conference center and take escalators up to the Diamond Ballroom.

Only valet parking at the JW Marriott will be covered by AFP-GLAC.

Valet parking is available off of West Road, which is closer to the Conference Center. (see map below)

Conference Policies
By registering and attending this event you agree to the following policies.

Acknowledgement of Personal Responsibility and Assumption of Risk
Attendees voluntarily assume all risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury related to exposure to COVID-19 or any other virus, and release AFP GLAC from liability for any injury or harm that may result by attending the event. The AFP GLAC board’s goal is to ensure a safe meeting environment. As such, attendees also agree to abide by any prevention or safety measures that AFP GLAC, the venue, the County health department, or the State of California may have in place during the event. Attendees also agree not to attend the event if they become ill, are aware that they’ve been directly exposed to the COVID-19 virus within two weeks prior to the Event, or exhibit any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus or any other virus prior to or during the Event.

Photo Policy
While attending this event, attendee's image or likeness may be captured in photography, video or audio. Acceptance of these terms and conditions grants AFP GLAC permission to use attendee's likeness in promotional and marketing materials, website, email broadcast or other any other communication format. Use of attendee's image or likeness shall be without expectation of rights to ownership, compensation or royalties or any other entitlements.

Code of Conduct
We believe our community should be truly open for everyone. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, or religion.

Expected Behavior:
  • Be considerate, respectful, and collaborative.
  • Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behavior, materials and speech.
  • Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants. Alert event organizers/union representatives if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.

Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated whether by other attendees, organizers, or venue staff. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the event organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from the event without warning.
