It is with much amazement that I report on our February 2023 Dorcas Destiny International activities!
Our February team trip was BY FAR the best one EVER!!!! Many people (children, women, men in prison, pastors, leaders) were impacted by our various activities.
Following is a brief overview! We'll share more in the March newsletter!
Along with our usual Victory School visit spending the day feeding the children, blowing bubbles and playing with them, we also had a 2-day pastor and leaders conference in Nairobi, followed by a recreation day and hosted dinner for 4 of our high school students.
Our US-based team of 6 journeyed over the mountain and then spent days with our Kenya-based Feed My Sheep team once we made it to Awendo's Sony Sugar and shared time at both the women's and men's prisons. This was along with our 2-day conference at Sony and 2 days in Opoya at Motivated By Love King's Academy.
We had a rousing game of disc golf with a brand new disc golf basket and 30 discs donated by a Foundation (that I'm not yet free to disclose), but they will announce our donation through their channels using the video and photos we provided. Yaay!
Our next trip is the upcoming Healing Hands June 2023 Medical Missions Trip! Dr.Bri the O.T. continues to lead the charge on that mission! 20+ strong!!! We are already excited about the reports! You'll read all about it!
