With recent events highlighting the fact that over 2.6 million people are facing severe food insecurity in Malawi, Africa, we urge you to consider joining us in supporting Demonstrate Love via Amazon Smile. Founded by HK Partner and Certified Family Law Specialist, Julia McDowell, Demonstrate Love operates in the rural villages of southern Malawi, one of the poorest areas in the world. They focus on education, medical services, community development, and direct aid. Unfortunately, in Malawi, only 45 percent of girls stay in school past the eighth grade. With Chief Theresa Kachindamoto’s efforts to end child marriage finding success, one of Demonstrate Love’s goals is to uplift these girls and women by continuing to provide education and leadership opportunities. Already offering free school to eleven nearby villages, Demonstrate Love also provides a nutritious meal and play area for children, as well as food support, housing repairs and medical transportation for the infirmed and elderly of the villages. In 2021, Demonstrate Love plans to fund and open a second school and drill a water well. Your support is much needed and so appreciated!
