"Baobab Blast" VBS Week

June 19-23 from 8:45 am to 12 pm

• We're having an incredible VBS Baobab Blast week! Thanks to our volunteers and participants. See photos from our VBS week so far.
• All are invited to the closing program on Friday morning at 11:30 am in the sanctuary followed by lunch in the Multi-Purpose Room with a freewill offering for VBS expenses.

Confirmation Camp: June 11-16 at Ebert Ranch

Our four Confirmation campers had an incredible week at Ebert Ranch filled with faith, fun, and fellowship! They even took a field trip to Camp Chrysalis on Thursday and got to greet three other campers from the Gethsemane community. See more photos from camp. Last Sunday they shared stories of their adventures with the congregation and served communion to the community that supported their journey to camp. See photos from last Sunday.

Father's Day

Look at these amazing father figures in the Gethsemane community that we celebrated on Father's Day! See more photos. Gethsemane is blessed by talented musicians who sing from the heart. Lane Holmstrom, accompanied by Joe Dan Johnson, shared an original song about the love of God experienced through fathers. Listen to their song on the live stream recording.

Donate food or clothes to support community members in need! Know someone in need? The Gethsemane Food Pantry and Clothes Closet is open Tuesdays from 9 am-12 pm.

New Partners in Ministry:

Austin Public Health Chronic Disease & Injury Prevention Program

Austin Public Health is partnering with the Gethsemane Food Pantry/Clothes Closet to provide health screenings every second Tuesday of the month in the Music Room. Thanks to Gethsemane congregants and friends for giving witness to the Gethsemane mission statement. For more information speak with Pastor Gronberg.
