REMOVAL OF HACKBERRY PROPERTY

Sometime late on October 19th or early October 20th an individual or individuals removed 4 of the 5 existing pedestrian crosswalk signs. The were found not far from each missing location, some of them being disassembled and placed in the bushes, others hidden in an alley and another thrown onto golf course property.

On October 21st the signage was removed from the crosswalk at Bradford Pear and Crosswood again.  A brief search turned up empty, and then the sign reappeared at the McKee Park intersection later that morning.

Finding and retrieving the signs and placing them back in their respective locations took up about two hours of your association staff's time. I think everyone can agree your management team's time can be much better spent serving the association. Hopefully there will be no reoccurrence of this and we ask that all residents respect association property and leave these crosswalk signs in place. If you notice or see anyone tampering with the signs, please contact the association office or the LCA.
