4th Annual Tees & Tails Tournament!

On September 5th, we hosted our fourth annual Tees & Tails golf tournament and shrimp boil. The weather was perfect, and the grounds at Cypress Lakes in Muscle Shoals were fantastic. Local industries and partners enjoyed networking and strengthening their connections.

This is always a well-attended event and one of the highlights of our year! We'd like to send another THANK YOU to our sponsors who made this event possible. We can't wait to do it again next year.

UNA Continues to be First Choice Among Student Cohorts; Preliminary Enrollment Numbers Indicate Growth for Fall 2024

Preliminary enrollment data at the University of North Alabama indicate growth for the Fall 2024 semester, with an anticipated headcount of approximately 10,600 students making UNA their choice for their higher education. Final enrollment figures are expected at the end of October.

UNA Climbs in U.S. News & World Report Ranking for Fifth Year

The latest rankings from U.S. News & World Report are out, and the University of North Alabama has achieved its highest rankings to date, climbing in four key categories, including Top Public Schools in the South, Best Colleges for Veterans, and Regional Universities South.

Sam Mashburn, Director of Business Advocacy, Stephanie Newland, VP of Workforce Initiatives, and Adam Himber with the Shoals EDA attended the North AlabamaWorks! Annual Workforce Summit in Huntsville, where leaders from business, education, and economic development came together to address regional opportunities and challenges. It was a productive day of collaboration and forward-thinking solutions for the future of our workforce!
