Praise God, our US medical mission team returned this month from a wonderful time of service with our national church partner in Los Dolores, Guatemala.
Los Dolores is a community in southern Guatemala, in an area filled with migrant farmers who work in the pineapple and coffee fields. This was our first CPI clinic at our church partners' building, right off the main road connecting Los Dolores with several other farming communities.
Our March team was filled with many experienced physicians, including four CPI Board Members, and 2 Cedarville University professors and 9 students serving during their Spring Break. Both undergrads and graduate students were members of our team, with majors in nursing, pre-med, and pharmacy.
Our mission team was joined by several Guatemalan physicians, medical students, and translators, who were critical to providing our patients with quality healthcare. And our entire team was blessed to see the Lord work and move in a multitude of ways, including witnessing 68 men, women, and children make a profession of faith in Jesus Christ after hearing a clear presentation of the Gospel in our Clinic of the Soul - to God be the glory, great things He has done!
