Meschino Bills Receive Favorable Reports as Legislative Committees Reach Joint Rule 10 Deadline
This month was busy for the Legislature's subject matter committees, as all timely-filed bills received a report from their respective committee on Wednesday, February 7. This is known as the Joint Rule 10 deadline during each legislative session.
So far, four of my bills have received favorable reports from their respective committees, each of which are listed below:
On top of these successes, a large number of my bills were extended due to continued interest from their respective committees. I look forward to further collaboration with committee chairs and staff to engage on these pieces of legislation.
Bills that were sent to study render them unlikely to pass in this legislative cycle. For more information on a specific piece of legislation, please reach out to my staff or use https://malegislature.gov/.

Rep. Meschino Joins Legislature for Go Red for Women Day
The Go Red for Women campaign has long addressed the awareness and clinical care gaps of a severe health threat, cardiovascular disease (CVD). The American Heart Association invited legislators to wear red in the spirit of advocacy for women's health equity, and I joined my colleagues in the State House on Valentine's Day in support of this work.
