Life is funny,

He was already sick with that horrendous cancer in his body and we didn't even know it! One of the last happy pictures before everything changed. I could sit and look at that adorable smirk all day long!

It's been a journey and the journey has shifted many times. The focus has always been on best outcome and that continued after he passed. As I spoke at his celebration of life, the first intention of Place of Possibility Inc., now working in his honor, was to make a kind difference in the world, a difference that Zach exemplified in his experience of life. This inspired the Make a Wave project. From there, Project Parent unfolded as a classmate of Zach's passed a year after he did.

And that brings us to today and reflection of all the impact that has been made in Zach's honor. And looking forward to all the future possibility and the launching of our next year of impact as we host the 6th Annual Bowties and Butterflies Blacktie Dinner Gala! You know I could go on and on! If you are not familiar, it's an easy click to find us on FB or Instagram or the web . All of these sites are host to our history and vision.

I'm writing today as we are once again at the crux of possibility! If I was one to beg and plead I would, however I operate through Faith Trust and Belief so I'll just share my heart! This event is super meaningful to me! It's held in honor of Zach's birthday each year and is a celebration of all we accomplished in the past year and all we intend to create in the coming year. The thing is, all we do is dependent upon those who are inspired to help and support our mission and events. I know it's easy to think that one person might not make a big difference however each and every person is very significant in our success. Each and every person is

seen and honored and acknowledged in my heart for the significant piece of Place of Possibility that would not exist without them.

So here we are with my traditional 1 week out last call invitation to an extremely fun event valued way over the cost to attend. Seeing you there will mean more to me than you will ever know! Much Love from my heart to yours,

Proceeds from Bowties & Butterflies are used each year to support children's hospice families have a Thanksgiving dinner and wake on Christmas morning to some special gifts and a holiday meal. Help us share some holiday spirit with these very deserving families!

Two of our most recent reasons, Abraham and Jasmine! We supported Abraham's Dad as after a 9-year journey with brain cancer, the family's funds were depleted. Place of Possibility through Project Parent and Project Parachute covered the costs of Abraham's cremation. Jasmine's Mom, a single parent caring for her daughter with stage 4 thyroid cancer is understandably challenged with staying employed. Place of Possibility stepped in and paid the rent when all other resources had been exhausted. Mom had just received an eviction notice. The heartbreaking stories relating to these two families are not given the justice they deserve in a few brief sentences, but we trust you can see the impact.
