New Undergraduate Certificate in Forensic Sciences Begins this Fall

Since eighth grade, Kailey Pease has known that she wanted to help figure out the puzzle of people’s lives through forensic work. Pease, a sophomore at Idaho State University studying anthropology, is the first student to officially sign up for the new undergraduate certificate in forensic science. Created through a multi-disciplinary collaboration, the certificate officially begins this fall. Eight students are already enrolled.

Yellowstone National Park digital collection now available

In celebration of Yellowstone National Park’s 150th anniversary this year, the Eli M. Oboler Library has launched a digital collection that brings together a selection of photographs, postcards, letters, publications, scrapbooks, and other archival materials from nineteen different collections housed in the Special Collections and Archives department at Idaho State University.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
