Clackamas County Library Catalog App Outage

The Clackamas County Library catalog app is currently experiencing technical issues. The app's connection to the main catalog servers is broken, resulting in the display of outdated information. While a solution is actively being pursued by the app provider, we do not yet have an estimated completion time to share.

We understand this may cause frustration for regular app users and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Please Note: This issue does not affect Library2Go's Libby/Overdrive app, which is fully functional.

What's Happening with the App?

The app's ability to connect to the main catalog servers is currently disrupted. As a result, certain features may appear to be operational but are displaying outdated information. For example, you may see returned books still showing as checked out or holds appearing as 'ready for pickup' despite already being checked out.

Can I Still Use the Library App on My Mobile Device?

No. The app will not successfully search the catalog for books or display your checkouts and holds at this time. While it may show hours and locations, please be aware that the app cannot connect to the servers, potentially providing inaccurate information.

Is There Another App I Can Use Instead?

At this time, there is not an alternative app available. However, you can still search the library catalog using an internet browser on your mobile device by visiting www.lincc.org. Additionally, please feel free to reach out to Sandy or Hoodland Library staff for assistance with your account.

We will keep you informed of any developments as we receive updates. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time. Thank you!

SAM Service to Clackamas Town Center

SAM is thrilled to announce the launch of a brand-new bus route to Clackamas Town Center, coming in January 2024! Hop on board our comfortable buses with friendly and professional drivers, free Wi-Fi and affordable fares!

After a two-year public process, the City Council adopted a new Transit Master Plan in April 2020. As envisioned in the plan, this new regional connection will enhance transportation options and bring a host of positive impacts for our community. The below map outlines the proposed route.

Why Provide Service to Clackamas Town Center?

Regional Connectivity: Not only will the new route connect Sandy to important commercial areas in Clackamas, it will provide Boring and Damascus residents with access to Sandy goods and services, strengthening the ties between our communities.

Access to Medical Care: This route provides a much-needed lifeline to healthcare facilities with specialized medical care, such as Sunnyside Kaiser. Residents of Sandy, Boring, and Damascus will be able to easily access both local and regional health services. All SAM vehicles are equipped with ramps and/or lifts and wheelchair securement, enabling anyone to board.

Job Opportunities: By expanding our transportation network we are opening up new avenues for job opportunities. The new route connects people to higher education institutions, employment centers, and new career paths that will spur economic growth in our community.

This new connection is not just a route on a map; it’s a pathway to progress. Stay tuned for more information on our inaugural run celebration! If you have stop suggestions, please email [email protected].
