Get in the Flow - this is the state if mind where we are so engaged and focused on whatever we are doing that we can even lose track of time. It's when we are in the zone.

Fun activities trigger the release of endorphins, our body's natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins are neurotransmitters produced by the body that act as natural painkillers and mood elevators. Give Yourself Permission to Get a Kick Out of Life


Transitioning from Florida to North Carolina has been an enriching experience filled with so many wonderful opportunities. Today I'd like to introduce you to the Stonewall Sports League, one of our nation's largest LGBTQ+ organized sports league. This winter, I had the privilege to play dodgeball and it was so much fun!



Compatibility is an important part of making new friends and recreational sports are an excellent way to build a network of likeminded people. To keep the fun going, I decided to start a kickball team named 4Kicks & Giggles composed of new friends and with me as the good-old Capitán. If you live in Charlotte, please feel free to come out and cheer for our team. The games will take place on Sundays between March 17 - May 5 at Veteran's Park.
