2024 LENDING HEARTS GALA

Lending Hearts is thrilled to announce our honoree for the 2024 Lending Hearts Gala presented by Pirates Charities will be Pittsburgh Pirates All-Star Pitcher, Mr. David Bednar!

As this year’s Clemente Award nominee for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Mr. Bednar truly personifies what it means to lend his heart to others and to Lending Hearts.

We hope you will join us in celebrating on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Fairmont Pittsburgh.

As we close out 2023, we wanted to acknowledge a shift in timing for our annual giving campaign. With focus on an earlier fundraising gala this fiscal year, we are targeting February for the launch of our Giving Campaign with another generous matching opportunity from the Open Hearts Foundation. It will be the coming together of hearts-- Lending Hearts, the Open Hearts Foundation, and Valentine's Day!

Stay tuned for more details, and in the meantime, we welcome any contributions planned for the close of 2023 to be directed toward our annual fundraising gala or general donation.

SIPS FOR HOPE

Many, many thanks to everyone who came and supported our inaugural Lending Hearts Sips for Hope presented by UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. This wonderful event was also made possible by Coulter & Castillo Group, North Hills Nanny LLC. and The Modern Cafe.



Our sommelier led us through the tasting of five different wines and food pairings and continued enjoyment of a grazing table filled with sweets and savories.

We can’t wait to do it again next year!
