Calling All Volunteers!

Kindergarten Registration Help

February 22, 2024

We need volunteers to help at the welcome table at the upcoming Kindergarten registration event on February 22.

Volunteers will greet new families as they arrive, help answer questions, and provide brief tours of the school. It’s a great way to welcome new families to our school community and to help ease worries from parents who have young kiddos getting ready to start school for the first time.

Volunteers will sign-up for a two-hour shift: either 1pm-3pm, or 3pm-5pm.

FEBRUARY

Recess Wranglers

We have an immediate and ongoing need for volunteers to help out during school recess and lunch time.

No experience is necessary. Lots of fun watching your kiddos in action on the playground!

Valentine's Day Photos for the Yearbook

The yearbook team is on the lookout for photos showcasing the Valentine's Day celebrations held in different classrooms. If you have any, please share them with us at yearbook@normanrockwellpta.org

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for (audience)? Why should they care (benefit)? What do I want them to do (call-to-action)?

Create a great offer by adding words like "free," "personalized," "complimentary," or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take action, so consider inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"

5th Grade Baby Photos

Deadline is Friday, March 15th, 2022.

It's a Rockwell tradition that we include 5th grade student's baby/toddler photos in the yearbook!

If you'd like to participate in this tradition, please send a baby photo to yearbook@normanrockwellpta.org.

Please send a high/full resolution photo & include your student's name & teacher in the filename (example: AmySmith_Harris.jpg)

We recommend submitting a photo that is between 6 months - 2 years, but you are welcome to submit whatever you'd like!
