Dear saints,
We are now six weeks into this exciting season as a parish as we discern together the future of our block. We have held four town halls, we have begun a series of ten home gatherings across metro-Atlanta and QR-coded posters have been soliciting your vision for the block all over the campus.
Today, we are delighted to be able to launch our parish-wide survey (see below my signature). This survey has been carefully put together by our parish engagement committee. As it says in its introductory note, it is intended to be thought-provoking and open-ended enough for you to think about the future through the lens of what is most important to you about our life as a church.
Although the survey is not overly long, I do encourage you to take some time with the questions. Who do you want us to be? What is most significant to you about this place and these people? What do you value most highly in our life together?
I have so enjoyed hearing your answers to these questions and more during my one-on-one conversations about the block these past few weeks. I have equally enjoyed reading and hearing all that you have already shared via the QR code comments and in our town halls. I reiterate: no decisions have been made whatsoever about the future of our block and so it is essential that we hear your voice now so we can fill out the whole picture of where this parish stands in relation to our future.
Thank you for your commitment to this wonderful church.
