Waveny-VNH and Turnover Shop of Wilton Celebrate 20+ Year Partnership
Waveny-Visiting Nurse & Hospice and The Turnover Shop of Wilton celebrated 20+ years of partnership with a ceremony on Monday, October 3rd. In honor of this long-standing relationship, a Connecticut State official citation was presented by State Representative Tom O’Dea to Sharon Sobel of The Turnover Shop, with Waveny-VNH Board members, staff and many loyal volunteers in attendance.
Waveny-VNH and The Turnover Shop have been working together since the 1940’s to ensure that hospice and home care is available to those in need in the community of Wilton. Over the past 20 years, the Turnover shop has generously donated over $750,000 to support the Patient Care Fund of Visiting Nurse and Hospice, now part of Waveny LifeCare Network.

Teaming up to Spread Kindness in our Community
|
Members of the Waveny team volunteered in partnership with the Wilton Chamber of Commerce, Wilton Police Department, Wilton Public School and the Riverbrook Regional YMCA to help spread random acts of kindness throughout Wilton. Yellow roses were distributed randomly to shoppers, drivers and pedestrians as they went about their business, with the single request to pass along the kindness throughout their own day. We are grateful to be included in this special event!

Waveny Lifecare Network provides over $4 million in uncompensated care annually across our continuum.
