Dear Friends,

Thank you. Two simple words that are never said enough but echo so true because, without your unwavering support of our mission, we would not be able to do what we do. Your investment and belief in our mission has enabled this little red barn to become a beacon of hope, not only in Spring Hill, Kansas but across the world.

This year has been a rollercoaster of challenges.

Some we have lost. Some we have won. But in every challenge, we have stood side by side, hand in hand, and fought together for the souls that needed us most—those souls who, without all of us, would remain alone.

Our faith has been the bedrock of our strength; we’ve learned, grown, and improved every single step of the way. Throughout our journeys we have saved and provided care for thousands of animals. We have given these animals a second chance at life and, for some, a first chance at knowing love. We have become known as the rescue that takes on extreme medical cases, including cases involving horrific dog fight wounds, amputations, cancer treatments, parvo puppies, mange, you name it... we’ve helped treat, care and love an animal with it. We never discriminate against medical issues, breed, or age.

Hojo was mauled by another animal. He was covered in maggots and left to die at a kill shelter.

Hojo After

After several surgeries, three weeks in ICU at emergency vet and daily bangage changes, he is now healing in a loving foster and awaiting his happliy ever after.

Even when funds are low, our faith is high that someone, somewhere, will see and know each of these animals' worth and help us save those that nobody else wants. To the core of our being, we know and believe that all lives matter and that all souls have a purpose.

We have so many exciting things on the horizon!

Today, on Giving Tuesday, we are closing on the purchase of the Osawatomie Pound. Watch for a Facebook Live later today as we celebrate this milestone.

After four years of being the sole care takers for the Miami County, Paola and Osawatomie animals at the Osawatomie Pound, we couldn't be more excited about this. We are so grateful to the city of Osawatomie for entrusting us with the care of their animals. With your help, we plan to put up a beautiful NEW big red barn to replace the pound; something, both Always & Furever and the city of Osawatomie will be proud of forever. This will come at a high cost, and we won’t be able to do it without everyone’s help, but it will be worth it!

Your donations are the lifeblood that sustain our efforts. Your contributions not only uphold the well-being of all our animals but also fortify the dedication of those incredible human beings behind the scenes who work tirelessly and devote themselves entirely to this endeavor.
