Churches, we all know this is a real need for college students in our diocese, we also know a lot of college students do not have a lot of money at their disposal. If you feel called to sponsor a college student (or two) please contact Charlotte Garcia at youth@diocesewnc.org.

Dismantling Racism Training Workshop

This workshop for congregations and other diocesan organizations includes interactive exercises, videos, and small group discussions. Participants explore how institutional and systemic racism impede our ability to create an inclusive community. Through this workshop, facilitators from the Commission to Dismantle Racism hope to raise awareness that dismantling racism is a spiritual discipline grounded in our Baptismal Covenant. The Ven. Brenda Gilbert and the Revs. Toni Belhu and Logan Lovelace will lead the workshop.

Friday night session is on Zoom from 6:30-8 p.m. Registrants will be sent the link.

Saturday's session is on-site at Calvary, Fletcher, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Please RSVP by Thursday, Nov. 30, to receive the link for Friday's session.
