It's not too late to enroll this spring! The second eight-week (8W2) term begins the week of Monday, March 18. Other late-start classes begin throughout the semester. View Spring 2024 Dates and Deadlines. This is a great opportunity to add another class so you can complete your program sooner and reach your academic goals faster!

Summer Parking Update


Los Rios campuses will require parking permits for the Summer 2024 term. Semester parking permits simplify your parking needs with just one purchase required, cover the entire term, and are valid at all Los Rios colleges and centers. The cost for Summer 2024 is $26 for automobiles and $16 for motorcycles. So as you start to register for summer classes, make sure to plan ahead and purchase your permit early!

Spring Break is Coming!


Spring Recess will be from Monday, March 11 through Sunday, March 17. No classes will be held, but college offices will remain open during this time.


Note: The Beaver Bites newsletter will take a brief hiatus for Spring Recess and will return on Friday, March 15. Check out some of the events still happening on campus or online; we would love to see you there!

Women's History Month


March is Women's History Month, a celebration of women's contributions to history, culture, and society. This is a dedicated month to reflect on the often-overlooked contributions of women to US history. The 2024 theme celebrates "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion” and recognizes women who understand the need to eliminate bias and discrimination from individuals' lives and institutions.

Brown Bag with Brian


Join Chancellor Brian King at an upcoming Brown Bag session at American River College! These informal gatherings are an excellent opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to engage directly with Chancellor King on the topics that matter most to them or the college community as a whole. Bring your lunch and join us for a fruitful discussion.
