August CES Program

A Re-Introduction to Networking

August 22nd @ 4PM (2 AIA LU's)

Members can register for FREE and non-members pay only $5.

A lot has changed in the last three years, and it would be silly to think that we’re ready to jump right back into the networking waters. In this 2-hour event we spend 1 hour together in a community workshop intended to help us get clear on the role networking can play in our lives today - in interactive experiences, we see firsthand the value in belonging, connecting, being seen and heard, and being of-service. And then we take those experiences on our own for another hour of play. We come together at the end to share our learnings.

Presented by Cass McCrory, expert leading enterprises & organizations like Accenture, Microsoft, TCS, SWBR and more through professional development training leverage social media. Register here!

AIA's Resilience Tool Kit

Resilience design strategies play a crucial role in establishing secure, healthy, and sustainable communities. The Resilience Design Toolkit has been developed to assist architects in integrating resilience studies into their projects. This comprehensive guide provides a step-by-step process for seamlessly incorporating resilience design thinking into the overall design process.

The toolkit not only imparts architects with vital background information regarding the significance of resilience design but also equips them with the knowledge to adapt design methods to cater to the unique requirements of each project. Initially stemming from a research study conducted at HKS, the toolkit has undergone further refinement through collaboration with the AIA Resilience & Adaptation Advisory Group, resulting in a highly flexible and practical resource for integrating resilience thinking into project design.
