Welcome to the end of February! This month, we attended the PBS Wisconsin Garden Expo for the first time since 2020, and it was great to be back. Even prior to 2020, we had stopped doing nearly as many shows as we used to, but we still like to go to this one. It's always great to chat with CobraHead users in person.

We've always been a bean-loving household, and this month, Judy has shared a vegetarian white bean chili recipe. Pressure cookers are a great way to cut down on the amount of time it takes for beans to cook.

We don't grow beans for drying because for us it's easier to buy a variety of high-quality beans in the marketplace. Here's a recipe that Judy made using Alubia Blanca, a small white heirloom bean.


When CobraHead was new we did lots of trade shows, now most of our marketing is done online. Madison Garden Expo is the one show we still look forward to doing.

I make no secret about being a proud "cat dad" and love sharing photos of my little grey pals any chance I get. Bijou (top photo) and Ember (on the pedestal) were both rescue kittens that Anneliese and I adopted from the local Humane Society shelter. They are constant sources of joy in our house, even when they're making trouble. I highly recommend bringing a shelter cat into your life if you're able!
