Update on Chap

Thank you for your faithful partnership as we bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to, and serve the many needs of, children and families of Uganda, particularly in the rural area of Kamonkoli. Each year it is such a blessing to see young adults that have been sponsored since childhood entering communities all around their country as successful contributors, many as Godly leaders, making a meaningful difference to those around them. You have been a huge part of making this all happen! God is growing the ministry, and world economic challenges impact the ministry as well. We appreciate your keeping us in mind for your year-end giving consideration. Might we suggest some of the following needs for you to support:

Child Sponsorship Impact the life and future of a child living without hope. We have many children and youth in need of ongoing sponsorship that you can select from our website.

An Update on "Chap"

We shared about “Chap” the girl with no name, a couple of months ago. We have since searched out her legal name and she is called Koote. She was extremely malnourished and is already filling out nicely and showing a healthier skin color. She even cracked a bit of a smile for this picture. She is still receiving testing to determine the limits to her speaking capabilities. Please continue to keep Koote in your prayers.

Christmas Giving

We are continuing to collect Christmas donations for our sponsored and waitlisted children. Please consider a gift of $35 to help cover the Christmas celebration, new outfit, small gift, and Christmas food basket for the family for your sponsored children or for those on the waitlist or who’s sponsors are unable to give additionally.

Katherine will be heading back to Uganda around Thanksgiving and will be happy to take back Christmas cards for sponsored children that we receive at our Littleton office by Nov 17.

We will remove checks before we send the cards if you are giving by check. No packages please, though you may send

them to the field address if you wish.

Julius has just completed a diploma in clinical medicine. He was raised by a Jesus-loving grandmother who survivied on her gardens.

Child Sponsorship: High School These tuition, boarding and supply costs have risen significantly this year, beyond what sponsorship can cover. Please consider a gift to boost this fund for this and next year.

Child Sponsorship: Higher Education These tuition, boarding and supply expenses for vocational and university students are unpredictable and change regularly throughout the year. School books, supplies, technology and internship requirements very and are frequently not disclosed at the beginning of the school year. A gift to this fund will help us meet these needs, often surprises, as they arise.

Ministry Funds: Food Just like in the U.S. food has increased significantly. Our Genesis Primary School, children’s home, sponsorship program and community feeding all will need to increase their food budgets in the new year. Your gift will help us continue offering quality nutrition, beyond just filling tummies.

Children’s Home Most of our sponsored children come from impoverished families and live with one or both parents or extended family. Our children’s home is caring for children who do not have available extended family or have been placed with us due to family circumstances that do not allow the children to remain in their homes. Your gift can help up provide basic, nutritional and household needs for these children that are now growing up in a loving, Christian home.

Genesis Nursery/Primary School Help us offer a quality educational and a Christian world view to sponsored and community children. Give to the school, food needs or teacher continuing education. We are also in need of $5,000-$6,000 for stoves for our school dining hall.

Ministry Outreach Center We are seeking gifts of $5,000 or more for construction of our Ministry Outreach Center that will house our sponsorship and community outreach ministry. This heart of our ministry is currently housed in rented, tight, off-site space and needs to be on our property as our team ministers together.

Ministry Funds A gift to this fund will help us meet the ministry and administrative needs throughout the ministry. It is our desire to do all things to the glory of God and we strive to demonstrate honorable stewardship with all the generous gifts we receive.
