Applying to Private School This Winter?
If your child will be applying to private or independent schools for admission for the 2023-2024 school year, we can help! Enlisting an
Admission Consultant guarantees that the Admissions Process will be organized and well-planned, minimizing stress and providing you and your child with confidence every step of the way.
During the Initial Assessment, the Admission Consultant will create a personalized Admissions Plan, which may include: developing and finalizing a list of schools to which the student will apply, learning about what to look for on school visits, reviewing applications, deciding which teachers to ask for recommendations, establishing a standardized testing schedule, exploration of Financial Aid and Scholarships, as well as incorporating our Admission Essay and Interview Coaching services.
A well-written application essay is a key component of your child’s admission package. It gives the admissions staff insight into your child’s interests and personality that can’t be obtained from any other part of their application. Your Essay Coach identifies your child’s personal goals, talents, and insights, and then helps craft them into an essay topic that will grab the admission officer’s attention.
During the editing process, your Essay Coach exchanges drafts with your child by email and responds to each submitted draft with a detailed critique. Because our experienced professional Essay Coaches guide your child throughout the entire process, from initial concept to proof-read final draft, your child’s essay is guaranteed to stand out from the crowd.
Interview Coaching offers your child the opportunity to perform at their best in this critical and highly stressful part of the admission process. Our Interview Coaches assess and fine-tune your child’s individual strengths and weaknesses. Your child will learn to answer interview questions while letting their true personality shine, proving to the interviewer that they would be the perfect candidate for admission.
Knowing what to expect in an admission interview helps reduce your child’s anxiety, so the Interview Coach conducts mock interviews to examine which areas of your child’s performance can be enhanced through public speaking and social skills. Your child will be armed with appropriate questions to ask the interviewer, and will be prepared and confident for any question that comes their way.
