Our Asian Pear harvest is complete and now, with the holiday season behind us, we're all breathing a collective sigh. It may not look like much is happening now that winter has set in and blanketed the trees in snow. But in fact, those trees are working hard to restore the energy they used producing all those beautiful pears during the growing season! We'll add a layer of mulch to help protect the roots from freezing. Those bushy tree limbs need a trim, but that's a story for next month! |
