Dear Parents,
What a wonderful week we had at Kids For Kids Academy. Holiday cheer filled every room of our school. I know you will love all of the holiday projects my AMAZING, TRULY SUPER, WONDERFUL staff has helped your child to produce.
A special thanks to our VPK and K-2 staff who worked so hard to prepare their classes for the holiday performances. Both shows went really well. At the end of the K-2 show you will see our second graders interacting with the elderly clients at the Adult Daycare next door. It was so touching to see them deliver the cards and gifts they made, each getting a hug in return. The clients loved the time spent with our students. Here are links to both performances. For those of you who participated in the toy drive, I have to tell you the foster kids and our families from our school who got your wonderful gifts were overcome with joy that someone who didn't even know them cared enough to send such wonderful gifts. I hope when your family opens their gifts, your hearts will be warmed knowing how happy you made so many.
There are also no words that could properly convey my gratitude for all the wonderful gifts that you showered me and my staff with. You made everyone feel so very loved and appreciated.
Finally, please keep in mind, that we are closed December 25 through January 1st. We will be open our regular hours January 2-5. Those days are noninstructional "camp" days. Kids in our VPK and K-2 program who do not attend will not be marked absent. There will also be NO WEEKLY LETTER the week of January 2-5. Our regular instruction resumes on January 8th.
