February Spotlight

Waiting in Ketchikan by Lora Derr, a Square Foot Fiber Art Pin Up Show 2023 winning entry. Fabric collage using raw edge applique with cotton fabric, fusible webbing, and gel pen.

Lora says, "My phone took this photo while the lady in blue jeans asked for directions. I enhanced the original by changing the size of her bottom [which she will never know] and replacing the bird-splattered concrete with tile. The nasturtiums grab your attention, and the perspective pulls you in."

SEFAA members, it is time to vote for our 2024-2026 Board of Director candidate! This year, our Treasurer, Karen SanMillan, is running for re-election for her second Board term. Please vote by 3 pm on February 24th! You can:

• Vote virtually by completing this simple online form.
• Print a copy of the online form (right-click and select print) and email it or mail it to SEFAA, 3420 W. Hospital Ave., Suite 103, Chamblee, GA 30341.
• Submit your ballot in person at our Annual Meeting at the SEFAA Center starting at 2:00 pm on February 24th.
