Visit Our Directory This Summer
This summer, take a moment to explore TESL Ontario’s Directory of English Language Teaching Resources, formerly known as Ontario’s Directory of Best Practices.
Did you know that nearly 3400 people per month from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Egypt, the UAE, India, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan visit our Directory?
The Directory is home to a rich collection of English resources now found under three main categories: Curriculum Development; Learning, Research and Development for Instructors; and Tech for Language Teaching and Learning. By clicking on one of the main categories, language teachers can peruse a variety of topics that have current and relevant English language teaching resources.
As you explore the new Directory, feel free to let us know how you like it. We welcome all suggestions including any resources that you may come across and that you feel would make a good addition to the Directory.
Make sure to bookmark the new Directory, so you can find it easily when you need a resource for your teaching practice.

An Important Message from TESL Ontario
TESL Ontario believes in complete transparency with our members. As such, we would like to advise you of a nominal increase in annual membership fees that came into effect on April 1, 2024.
This fee increase has been set at 2.5%, or approximately $2.00/year for Standard Members and $4.00/year for Certified Members.
This small increase has been necessitated by an overall rise in operating costs driven largely by inflation.
Your membership fees support ongoing improvements to services at TESL Ontario including new or upgraded services and recently-introduced initiatives, such as our updated website, TESL Career Centre, in-person networking and professional development events.
You will continue to enjoy all of the benefits of TESL Ontario membership with new savings programs, professional development and networking opportunities, and other valuable initiatives being added throughout the year.
We thank you for your continued support of your professional association!
