Police Department Adds WeTip
Anonymous Reporting System
The Bonner Springs Police Department is now officially a part of the WeTip anonymous reporting program. There are three ways to report crimes anonymously as part of WeTip.

Parks & Recreation News
Bonner Springs sports programs are designed to provide opportunities and participation to all, regardless of skill or ability. 
Turkey Feather Hunt
Tommy the Turkey is back this Thanksgiving Break and is still losing his tail feathers as he runs. He has realized that it takes a lot to run to every park in Bonner Springs and has altered his running path to Lions Park. The riddle will be posted on the Parks & Rec Facebook (@BonnerSpringsParks) at 12 PM on Wednesday, 11/23/2022. The hunt will close at 4 PM on Sunday, 11/27/2022. Prizes can be collected at the Bonner Springs Community Center during normal business hours on 12/1/2022 or 12/2/2022.
Candy Cane Hunt, Parade & Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting
Join us at Centennial Park before the Mayor's Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 3.

We will have our annual Candy Cane Hunt at 4:30 PM (don't be late) followed by Christmas Train rides ($1) and Reindeer Feed making (free).

Stay after for the Christmas Parade, followed by the Mayor's Tree Lighting, and end your night with hot chocolate and cookies at the Community Center.
Farmers' Market Pavilion Survey Results
The results are in! With 51% of the vote, the new farmers market pavilion will be recommended for placement in the Centennial Park parking lot.

Staff will now work with the farmers'' market vendors on what their needs are and design options.

We offer a wide variety of activities for all interests and abilities including Mystery Lunches, Bingo, Museums, Dinner Theatre Trips, Board Games and Cards, Food Demonstrations, Free Legal Services, Free Blood Pressure Checks, Wii Video Games, Basic Computer Training, Pool Tables, Movies and Cable TV with the Coffee Pot on Daily.

Holiday Lights Tour
Dashing through our town, in a one-horse motor-coach, we will enjoy some awesome sights as we view some twinkling lights….hey!

Join us on our annual holiday lights tour on November 30. We will see Longview Lake’s annual display, Overland Park’s musical tableau, the melancholy Country Club Plaza, and Downtown Kansas City. Deadline for registration is October 28!

All ages are welcome for this Holiday Lights Tour!
