Dear Parents,

This week our Rainbow, Orange, Brown, Purple, Silver and Gold Classes had an onsite fieldtrip. They had the opportunity to meet an author. Kentrell has written several books about his niece Shelly who is deaf. The classes each heard different Shelly Adventure stories and through the stories learned about the deaf as well as many signs taught in the books. Each child received a signed copy of the book they heard. If your child was in these classes and was in attendance on Thursday, you will see an $8 charge on your account for the book.

On Friday, our main wing classrooms had a chance to enjoy the storytellers from the local library. 

I am also thrilled to say that all 22 kids in our holiday toy drive have been "adopted" for the holidays. Thank you to everyone who has dropped off their gifts. If you signed up to buy a gift for a child, please drop it off no later than December 14th. Your kindness will help 22 kids feel extra special this holiday season.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS:

Thursday, December 14th SANTA will be at our school from 7:30-9:00. We will take your photo with your child and share the images. Santa will also be bringing a gift book for every child. Kids can dress in holiday colors for the Santa photo.

Wednesday, December 20th our VPK and K-2 kids will do their holiday caroling at 10:00 am. Parents are invited to see the holiday show. It will also be recorded and the link will be shared that morning for those of you who can't attend.

REMINDER: Kids For Kids Academy will be closed 12/25-1/1. We will reopen on 1/2/2023.
