Lake County 4-H - November 2023 Newsletter

"Autumn air, cool and fresh, brings the season of Thankfulness and Gratitude after the hot summer and bounty of harvest. Thankfulness is an emotion expressing appreciation. Gratitude is an attitude of appreciation under any circumstance of life. When you experience gratitude, you feel grateful for something or someone in your life and respond with feelings of kindness, warmth, and other forms of generosity. Gratitude on the deepest level is a reflection, acknowledgment, and acceptance of our worth and worth of others honoring individual differences. An attitude of gratitude means making the conscious habit of expressing appreciation on a regular basis for big and small things alike." ~Jean
