Learn more about the GO Bond | Share your thoughts about the GO Bond Proposition
Bettendorf Community School District residents are being asked to vote on a proposition that would increase their property tax rate to help fund needed infrastructure and facility projects at Bettendorf Middle and High Schools.
The $69.25M GO Bond would help fund the Bettendorf Middle School and Bettendorf High School projects and add up to $2.70 to homeowners' property tax rates per $1,000 of taxable value. The district would use future SAVE (one cent sales tax) and PPEL (Physical Plant & Equipment Levy) reserves to fund 20.7% of the total costs of the middle and high school projects.
