Grant Funding for Small Businesses and Non-Profits
The New York State COVID-19 Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant Program was created to provide flexible grant assistance to currently viable small businesses, micro-businesses and for-profit independent arts and cultural organizations including independent arts contractors in the State of New York who have experienced economic hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Childcare Business Income Tax Credit and Childcare Center Property Tax Abatement
NYC is investing in an accessible, equitable, and high-quality childcare system. Among the many strategies to accomplish this goal are the creation of a new NYC business income tax credit for businesses that provide free or subsidized infant/toddler care for their employees, and a new property tax abatement for property owners who retrofit space to accommodate childcare centers.

Survey: Offshore Wind Supply Chain
Offshore wind power is critical for New York City’s commitment to 100-percent clean electricity by 2040 and carbon neutrality by 2050. New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is conducting a survey to identify how to best support local manufacturers and industrial businesses in the transition to this high-growth industry. Respondents may see their company information entered into New York State’s official Offshore Wind Supply Chain Database, a resource used by major offshore wind developers. Details
