Training Opportunities in September

Attention!

We have extra slots open in the ASIST training

next week (September 19 - 20)

ASIST Training for Trainers (T4T) September 19 - 23) 

Per their website, "LivingWorks ASIST teaches trainees to provide a skilled intervention and develop a collaborative safety plan to keep someone safe and alive. Trusted by professionals yet learnable by anyone, LivingWorks ASIST is the world's leading suicide intervention model."

The two day ASIST training is Monday and Tuesday (September 19 and 20) from 8:30a - 4:30p each day. It is required to attend in full both days.

The five day ASIST T4T is Monday - Friday (September 19 - 23). It is typically from 8 - 4:30, with longer days (until 8:30) on Wednesday and Thursday. 

It is in person at the Four Points Sheraton in Charleston, WV. Lunch, travel, and lodging will be on your own. 

The training (AND the T4T!) itself is provided free of charge thanks to funding from WV DHHR.
