Introducing the North American Millets Alliance

It is our pleasure to introduce the North American Millets Alliance (NAMA), a new resource for those involved in the production and use of millets, including sorghum. NAMA’s mission is to share knowledge about the social and economic benefits of growing, marketing, and consuming millets in North America. NAMA is also exploring avenues to implement a virtual six-month conference as part of the UN’s 2023 International Year of Millets campaign. If you’d like to get involved, please email co-founder Jonathon at jklandeck@gmail.com.

Our New Stamp Program Manager Rebecca Alpert

We are very excited to introduce Rebecca, our new WGC Stamp Program Manager! Her childhood in Vermont inspired in her a passion for good food and sustainability, making her a perfect fit for the WGC team. She joins us after nearly five years in Japan, where she worked as a teacher and university administrator. Before that, she lived in NYC and worked at a raw chocolate company– yes, it was as delicious as it sounds. Feel free to ask Rebecca any questions about the Whole GrainStamp, whole grain foods and ingredients, or simply inquire as to whether she’s seen any good dogs lately!
