Business Foundations Technical Assistance
The Business Foundations Technical Assistance program provides technical assistance and small grants to Colorado small businesses to help businesses legally establish themselves. The program includes 3 required training paths for businesses to complete and receive a certification.
Cannabis Business Technical Assistance
This program provides foundational knowledge to launching and growing a business in the cannabis industry through online, free, and on-demand curriculum covering topics from marketing to finance and more. Registration is open and accepted on a rolling basis.
Rural Jump-Start Program
The Rural Jump-Start Program incentivizes new businesses start in or move into rural, economically distressed areas and hire new employees. To be eligible, businesses cannot compete with similar businesses in the county or adjacent economically distressed county. The program provides both a grant and tax credit to businesses. Applications are open and accepted on a rolling basis.
Employee Ownership Tax CreditThis tax credit is available to Colorado-headquartered businesses to cover up to 50% of a qualified business’ conversion costs for use on their state income taxes. Applications are open and accepted on a rolling basis.
