Football
Football got in the win column on Friday, September 9, with a 16-0 victory over Brea Olinda. The Lancers have one more preseason game against Northview before hosting Fullerton on September 30, to open Freeway league competition.

Girls Volleyball
Some great battles this pre-season from all 3 levels! Varsity won 1st place in the Silver Division at the Kennedy Tournament! League has started and varsity is currently 1-1.
Frosh/Soph finishes pre-season with a stellar 6-1 record!

Girls Golf
Varsity went 3-1 in the month of August with 1 win over Cal High and 2 wins against La Mirada. Yurang Li led the team in each of the 3 wins. Varsity has a current record of 7-1!

JV went 2-1 with wins over Rosary and Brea. Jaelyn Yeon and Chara Yoon led the team in those wins.

Boys Water Polo
Sunny Hills Boys Water Polo finished 5th in the Gold Division of the Corona Boys Water Polo Tournament. The Lancers went 3 and 1 in the tournament and are off to a 4 and 2 start.

Girls Tennis
Girls Tennis players Daniela Borruel (Sophomore) and Crystal Kim (Senior) both won all their matches (6-0, 6-0, 6-0). The Lancers are 0-1 losing to a tough Orange Lutheran team 12-6. The Lancers have two matches scheduled next week against Brea and Valencia.

Cross Country
The Lancers competed at the historic Woodbridge Invitational in Irvine, with over 20 runners hitting a Personal Record (PR) on the night!

The Lancers also had a great showing at the Cool Breeze Invitational in Pomona!

Pre-season preparations were in full swing with a busy September schedule ahead.

Athletes of the Month
The Lancers August, Gold Status Athletes of the Month are Noor Francisco and Cole Dunkleberger!

Noor plays middle blocker and right side for the Lancers Girls Volleyball Team!

Cole plays defensive end and tackle for the Lancers Football Team!

Noor and Cole were selected for this award because of their hard work and dedication to their teams! They received Gold Status Athlete of the month shirts and Jersey Mike's Player of the Month certificates!
