Summer Classes

Registration is now open for RVCC’s summer classes with sessions beginning May 23, June 13, and July 11. Summer is a great opportunity for college students to earn extra credits and save money and for high school juniors and seniors to jumpstart their college education.

Information Sessions

RVCC is holding both in-person and virtual Information Sessions and campus tours in March, including special sessions focusing on the Honors College, Beauty Professions programs, Paying for College, the Medical Laboratory Technology program, and Early College options.
Virtual Transfer Fairs

Take advantage of RVCC’s high quality, affordable programs for your first two years of college and then transfer to a four-year school. Economic Impact Study

A new economic study shows that Raritan Valley Community College creates a significant positive impact on the regional business community and generates a return on investment to students, tax payers, and society.
Groundbreaking Gift to Launch Giving Day

RVCC will be celebrating its 6th Annual “Giving Day” on March 24, and this year’s “Match Madness” theme has received an unprecedented boost from RVCC supporters Frank and Pat Russo. The Russos, through the Frank S. and Patricia F. Russo Foundation, have pledged a 100% match of the first $50,000 of funds raised in support of RVCC Giving Day 2022.
Global Game Jam

RVCC hosted a site for the 2022 Global Game Jam, held January 20-30. The global event drew nearly 29,000 participants worldwide from 680 virtual and in-person sites in more than 100 countries. Twenty-four jammers participated virtually as part of the RVCC Game Jam site, building seven games.
Student Art Show

The Arts & Design department is presenting Part I of the Student Art Exhibition, on display through March 28 in the RVCC Art Gallery. Featured work is from the following disciplines: 2D Design, Book Arts, Color Theory, Drawing, Illustration, Interior Design, 3D Design, Sculpture, and Printmaking.
New Play Reading

A staged reading of The Antiquity of Hank, a new play by Professor of Theatre Dennis Russo, was held last month at the Actors Studio in New York City. The staged reading was part of the Playwrights/Directors Unit.
Planetarium
Hubble Image

The RVCC Planetarium has received a limited edition, tactile panel of one of the Hubble Telescope’s iconic images, the “Pillars of Creation.” The 12" x 12" image is on display in the Planetarium’s exhibition area and is available for viewing by the public.

Flying Karamazov Brothers

The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College will present The Flying Karamazov Brothers in 4Play, March 11, at 7 p.m.
