On April 2, 2024, the Local Government RCMP Contract Management Committee met with provincial government and BC RCMP representatives to discuss issues related to the Municipal Police Unit Agreements, and policing more broadly in British Columbia. Call for participation: Liquor Committee

UBCM is seeking staff representatives from small and mid-size communities for a liquor policy working group. The group is a venue for local governments to raise issues and concerns, provide feedback, and engage with the Province about the development of liquor policy.

PIBC survey about housing legislation implementation

The Planning Institute of British Columbia is seeking input from practitioners working in housing and related areas regarding their work in implementing the new provincial housing legislation, regulations, and policies. Interested practitioners may take a survey (open until August 14, 4 pm PDT) that will be used to shape peer learning network delivery.
