Concerts at the Cove
Held every Thursday night from July 15th - August 26th , from 6:00 - 7:45 PM
| |
The summer concert series continues at Fletcher Cove Park with “Imagery Machine”. Imagery Machine is a female-fronted indie/psychedelic rock band with undertones of reggae and progressive rock. Described as sounding similar to The Cranberries, Florence + the Machine and The Police, this troupe is fronted by the sultry voice of Jennie Shimkus with a band featuring accomplished musicians bassist Rusty Taylor, drummer Tyler Shimkus and lead guitarist Sean Sanchez. Imagery Machine was recently nominated for Best Indie/Alternative Album at the 2022 San Diego Music Awards, and the band has garnished four other SDMA nominations in previous years.
The public is encouraged to bring low-back beach chairs, blankets and picnics, and to arrive “Car-Free.” Please "ShopSolanaFirst" for munchies and other concert picnic items! No alcohol, tobacco, pets, or personal BBQ’s allowed during concerts. This event is free and open to the public.
