Tomorrow we will gather at Redeemer to celebrate the life of Don Miller. The service is at 11 am and it will be followed by a reception in Parents’ Hall (our gym). Please come and support Karen, Max, and their family. We will also livestream the service.

Sunday, January 14 – Second Sunday After Epiphany
We are now in the Season of Epiphany – a season of growth. Our lessons this week include the call of Samuel and the call of Philip and Nathanael. Where is God calling us? What message do we carry into the world? Come and worship with us.
This week we need a crucifer and reader at the 8:30 am service and a reader at the 9:45 am service. We already have volunteers this week who signed up to help the residents from Sunrise attend our 11 am service. Thank you to everyone who volunteers to help!

Educational Opportunities on Sunday at 9:45 am
Faith Formation and Confirmation will meet in Fellowship Hall for a Group Event.
High School and Table Talk will meet this Sunday in their normal classrooms.
Annual Reports Due Now
We are preparing ourselves for the upcoming annual meeting to be held on Sunday, February 4, at 12 pm. All reports from all chairpersons must be submitted to Cynthia no later than Monday, January 15. Our office has to have them in the hands of the members on Sunday, January 21, and we need the full week to put the reports together and send them out.
Potluck Dinner – January 28 from 5 pm to 7 pm
We are hosting a potluck dinner! Our intent is for our members to meet and greet those who are new to Redeemer and those who have been worshiping with us over the past few months. It is informal but fun. Individuals and whole families are welcome! Please come as you are able!

One-Day Spiritual Retreat – February 3 from 10 am to 4 pm
In the last few years we have used this retreat time to prepare ourselves for the Lenten season. This year the focus will be on the Psalms. We will gather in a Conference room in Reston that has easy access to parking. Please sign up as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. The cost of the retreat is $50.

2024 Commitment
Please download the 2024 Commitment letter. It helps us in our planning for the coming year to know where we stand financially and in terms of our volunteer pool. Thank you to everyone for your continued support of our ministries.
Outdoor Food Pantry Now Open
We now have our own Food Pantry outside. It is located by our smaller parking lot off Westmoreland. Please supply it with some food and take some food if you know of anyone who could use some additional supplies. We thank the Boy Scout troops for building, painting, and mounting the pantry.
