This year our event will take place on Sunday, October 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the IH High School parking lot (we moved this year to better accommodate all our participants).

We need lots of "trunks" to make this event a great success! Please sign up

We're great because you're great!

Thank you!

Parents can enjoy the short parades in the PS parking lot. Please park and there is no need to sign in at the front office. Students will parade around the recess areas. Students should wear costumes that can easily be worn all day to avoid the need for changing. Please NO costume masks that cover the face.

We are excited to share that the Global Parent Group will be hosting the Global Dinner this year! It is a fun evening with an international potluck and festivities. Please mark your calendars, bring your family, and come dine with us!

Veteran's Day

Indian Hill Primary and Elementary are looking forward to honoring veterans on Friday, November 10, and are inviting any veteran who has a connection to a Primary/Elementary School student to participate in a short car parade.

If you or a family member are interested in participating in the parade, please RSVP using this Google form and line your car up at 9:20 a.m. in the Primary parking lot (near the playground) on Friday, November 10. Staff members will be assisting cars on where to wait. The parade will begin at approximately 9:40 a.m. . The cars participating in the parade will be directed to drive through the bus lot where the IHPS students will be lined up to see the veterans and then head across the street to IHES where elementary students will see the parade through.  We want the event to be meaningful to those involved, so please plan to allow the veteran to be a passenger to engage with the students. For everyone’s safety, please refrain from using phones, cameras, or recording devices while driving.

Whether or not you can make the parade, please consider creating a slide to celebrate your service, or the service of a loved one, to be shared in all of our classrooms. By clicking on this LINK, you will be directed to make a copy of the template slide in google to complete.

Please share the slide with Elizabeth Ruebusch using her email elizabeth.ruebusch@ihsd.us as she will create the video compilation to be shared with students on Friday, November 10.

Additionally, students are invited to bring a picture of a veteran they know to school to share with their classmates.

Thank you for your service, the service of your loved ones, and for allowing us to honor you, once again.

Healthy Choices for Snacks

fruits and veggies

It is our goal for students to have healthy and safe snack options within the classroom that include fruits, vegetables, and some grains.

  • Examples: rice cakes or crackers, plain popcorn, Pirates Booty, garden veggie straws, Made Good products

  • Non-Examples: pretzels with peanut butter, hard boiled eggs, cereals or cereal bars, granola bars

We appreciate any and all efforts to provide snacks for your child that are the least intrusive to the teaching and learning environment (i.e., ease of opening, particular smells, allergen-free products).

Thank you in advance for your assistance. If you have any questions about snack time, please contact your child's teacher or Mrs. Neff - 513-272-4761 - judy.neff@ihsd.us

My School Bucks

My School Bucks is an online payment program where you can load money on to your child's lunch account and pay school fees. Our team is working feverishly to update all information for 23/24 fee collection.

We will let you know when that feature is ready to accept payments. In the meantime, you can still load money on to your child's lunch account. Never used My School Bucks before? Need a refresher? Click the link below.
