Knowledge Nook Sessions

Located in the Atrium of the Exhibition Hall, the Knowledge Nook is a space designed for companies to showcase an innovative product, service or research that was introduced to the market since the last World Dairy Expo. There will be six, 45-minute sessions per day beginning at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday - Friday in 2022.

World Dairy Expo would not be possible without the help of hundreds of volunteers during the week of the event. Due to the size and nature of Expo, there are a variety of volunteer opportunities from roles on the colored shavings to helping with 4th grade school tours. Historical Highlights

A memorable and iconic component of World Dairy Expo is the annual theme and Showring display. 2011 highlighted the "global" in the global dairy industry with the theme "Around the World of Dairy in 5 Days." The Showring featured the Madison skyline, the Coliseum, and a hot air balloon. 

Eastside Lewisdale Gold Missy EX-95 had an undefeated year in 2011, being crowned the Supreme Champion of both World Dairy Expo and The Royal that fall. Until recently, Missy was the most expensive cow in the world, having sold for $1.2 million in 2009 at the Road to the Royal sale. You can learn more abouot Missy here.
