Fall Open House

Learn about all Raritan Valley Community College has to offer and how to register for the Spring Semester at a Fall Open House, Saturday, October 21, 10 a.m. to noon, at the College’s Branchburg campus.

Prospective students may tour the campus, apply for free, and hear more about:

• Innovative academic programs designed to help students transfer to four-year colleges and universities
• Career training programs designed in partnership with local industry
• Earning credits for life and work experience
• Special support services to help students make a successful transition to college
• Financial Aid options, including scholarships, loans, and grants

International Sustainable Campus Index

RVCC is featured in the 2023 Sustainable Campus Index, an international publication from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). RVCC is ranked as #1 overall for two-year colleges in the US for its sustainability efforts and has a STARS Gold rating by AASHE.

New Faculty Members

Raritan Valley Community College is welcoming several new faculty members to the RVCC community this fall.

Sanofi Corporate Mentor Program

Fourteen students have been selected for this year’s Sanofi Corporate Mentor Program at Raritan Valley Community College. The highly selective program, now in its seventh year, provides opportunities for RVCC students to participate in a unique, one-year mentorship and scholarship program that promotes personal and professional growth.

Children’s Literature Symposium

Members of the community are invited to an online Children’s Literature Symposium presented by RVCC, October 24, 4-5:30 p.m. There is no charge for the program, which is being held via Zoom. Panelists Barbara Seater, Emily Dial-Driver, Mark Lubkowitz, Valerie Bang-Jensen, Kimberly Maitland, Sara Austin, and Moderator Lisa M. Tucker will share their experiences using children's picture books/young adult literature in the college classroom.

The Theatre at RVCC will kick off its 40th season with Splish Splash! The Music of Bobby Darin, Friday, October 20, at 8 p.m.

RVCC Planetarium

The RVCC Planetarium’s October schedule includes a special event focusing on the solar eclipse, as well as Halloween, laser, and star shows.
