Life Hangs in the Balance
✡︎ Shalom & Good Day! ✡︎

Life hangs in the balance as SCOTUS deliberates over the oral arguments in the Dobbs case heard on December 1st. The decision is due sometime in early summer. Until then, please pray for the lives and souls of our most vulnerable and innocent, and their parents.

We recently filed another Amicus brief to the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of PA for a case being heard this winter. Abortion industry plaintiffs sued the Department of Human Services to allow Medicaid funding of abortion. Ms. Sarah Straub, an outstanding and brilliant attorney with the law offices of Mette, Evans, and Woodside in Harrisburg worked with us to write a masterpiece of a legal document from a Jewish viewpoint, arguing to maintain PA's current policy prohibiting tax payer abortion funding.

This second opportunity to share a Torah based, life affirming view with a supreme court will help dispel the unfortunate and tragic pro-abortion arguments filed to the court by the NCJW. God willing, our efforts will give the justices and the general public a better understanding of Judaism as a religion that protects and defends life. You can read the brief in our website library, https://jewishprolifefoundation.org/library

May there be abundant peace from Heaven, and good life upon us and upon all Israel. Amen.
Online media articles about the abortion debate appear regularly these days. We'd like to share these pieces supporting life and liberty for unborn children, all authored by Jewish commentators. We credit Alice Lemos, who sits on our board of directors, for keeping us informed of these consequential and thought provoking pieces.

On 12.16.21, Rabbi Yehuda Levin invited us to be his guest on Levin@11 to discuss the rising number of abortions in the Orthodox communities and the proposed legislation in Israel to make abortion more accessible. We talk about Jewish law and the prohibition against abortion, and the misinformation campaign that has convinced even religious Jews that abortion is acceptable. We talked about our plans to launch an Israel Pro-LIfe Educational project to inform Jews in Israel of abortion facts that the health ministry and abortion profiteers suppress. Check out the short interview here:

Do you have a contact at a campus Hillel? We need volunteers to bring our message to Jewish young adults, who are thoroughly immersed in the abortion culture and need access to life saving and healing resources and information. If you do know someone, please let us know and we will provide you with literature. Thank you.
