Grateful

Dear Ministry Partner,

I am very grateful to God because of His grace, I was able to join the CCI 2022 Fall Tour. I am very grateful to be able to directly meet the people who always pray for and financially support CCI's services in Indonesia. They are hearing firsthand what God is doing through us for the expansion of the kingdom of God in equipping and multiplying leaders in Indonesia.

There are several things that became important notes for me on this tour:

1. I find that a growing church is a church that has teaching for its congregation.

2. The hosts are very grateful when we stay at their homes. They are very respectful and give their best in entertaining and welcoming us while we are in their homes.

3. Communication and relationships enable me to get closer and closer to the people I meet.

4. I also learned from fellow directors about how they developed the CCI ministry in their countries, which I can use to develop the CCI ministry in Indonesia.

I am grateful to have met churches and new people on the mission tour. Pray that in the next three weeks of October we can complete this tour for the honor and glory of our Father in Heaven.

Staff Update

From Pastor Rahmat Potto, Area Coordinator Mamasa

Please pray for the teachers in the Mamasa Region who hold monthly meetings to discuss the progress of their respective classes. Pray for them to share their lives and encourage each other in ministry.

Please pray for the opening of a new class in the Mamasa area so that more and more ministers will benefit from this curriculum and be a blessing to the local church.

Testimony From a Student

Pastor Hendrik Sappe is a participant in the Batang Uru CCI class.

"I am very blessed with this lesson, because my foundation is just a public Bible school, which is not very deep in understanding the texts of God's Word. CCI gave me the opportunity to learn more about understanding the Word with the rules of proper interpretation. What really helped me was how to understand that the Bible was written thousands of years ago but its application is always right on time and for today."

Prayer Requests & Praises

Pray for the CCI Tour 2022 which will end on October 25th, so that everything goes well. We are so thankful that many people are getting more involved both through prayers and support.

Pray for the need for teachers in Sumba because many churches are starting to open and ask to start classes but there are no teachers available. Pray that God will send the right people who are willing to teach.

Pray for partners and key people in North Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi and East Kalimantan who are willing to work with CCI Indonesia in training and multiplying leaders.

Please pray that our one Mamasa Coordinator will be able to get a new laptop because the old one often stops working and does not function normally to support CCI ministry in Mamasa.
