In Shifra's Arms Saving Lives In Los Angeles!
✡︎ Shalom & Good Day ✡︎

We want to start this newsletter with some good news.
In Shifra's Arms, America's only Jewish pregnancy care resource, is expanding its services. The Jewish Journal reported this in a story entitled, Jewish Pregnancy Support Organization Now Helping Los Angeles Women. We are so grateful for the work these volunteers do to assist Jewish women and their unborn children.

We've reported before about the diabolical connection between sex trafficking and abortion. New Jersey legislators are currently pushing an abortion bill similar to New York state's Reproductive Health Act.

New Jersey's legislation, S3030, the "Reproductive Freedom Act," states that, "Every individual present in the State, including, but not limited to, an individual who is under State control or supervision, shall have the fundamental right to:

(1) choose or refuse contraception or sterilization; and
(2) choose whether to carry a pregnancy, to give birth, or to have an abortion."

This Act is a magnet for sex traffickers, drawing their victims and abortion dollars into the Garden State and into the coffers of gubernatorial and senate re-election campaigns. No wonder that Governor Murphy supports the bill as sponsored by Senators Loretta Weinberg and Linda Greenstein, two Jewish women who continue to push abortion on vulnerable women for obvious personal and professional self interest.

In the case of both abortion and sterilization, choice often equals coercion. Dangerous abuses of minor women under 'the control' of the state loom ahead, as does many more babies born alive and profitably sold and dissected for medical research. May God have mercy on our souls for allowing this to proceed.

Binyomin Feinberg weighs in on the tragic aspects of this bill in the New Jersey Conservative.

ONE JEW’S LOOK THROUGH JUDAISM AT ABORTION

Have we not all one father?
Hath not one God created us?
Malachi 2:10

“We are Thy children, Thou art our Father.” Since the unborn are simply our young brothers and sisters, they are to be treated and cared for like our siblings. Would you want or dare to kill your real sibling who just happens to be already out of your mother’s womb? If you are pro-choice, you are agreeing with the idea that you may slaughter your sibling, even one who is younger than you –– just not born yet. He is your sibling because he has the same Father as you do. Each of our human fathers is our closest male family member. Ideally, he fathered each of us willingly in love. Even if this were not the case in a given situation, God, the Father of all the human race, created us in infinitely perfect love. He wants us to think of Him as intimately close to us, even closer than any human father could be.

Prayers for Forgiveness of Abortion

Yours, Lord, is the righteousness, and ours is the shamefacedness. What can we complain about? What can we say? What can we speak, and how can we justify ourselves? Let us search and examine our ways, and return to You, for Your right hand is extended to receive those who repent. We do not come before You with kindness, nor with good deeds. We knock at Your doors like paupers and like beggars. We knock at Your doors, Merciful and Gracious One, please do not turn us away empty-handed from Your Presence. Please do not turn us away empty-handed from Your Presence, our King, for You are the One who hears prayer.
