Bruce County Public Library's Book Mobile
Patrons can expect a collection of books, DVDs, and educational materials, including tech kits. The Bookmobile is also outfitted with a free Wi-Fi hub. The Bookmobile staff are dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space and assisting patrons of all ages

Calling for Municipal Drainage Committee Members
| |
The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula is seeking individuals to provide advice, recommendations, and oversight on matters related to municipal drainage within the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula.
The Municipal Drainage Committee will consist of a minimum of three (3) members to a maximum of five (5) members, which will include a municipal representative. The Committee will be appointed for the balance of the 2022-2026 Council term.
The Terms of Reference is available from the Clerk, upon request. Please go to www.northbrucepeninsula.ca under Committees of Council to complete the fillable application form. Please ensure it is submitted no later than Friday, March 8th, 2024, at 12:00 Noon. For more information, please contact cao@northernbruce.ca.

Police Services Board Recruitment
| |
Starting April 1, 2024, the Community Safety and Policing Act will be in place across Ontario. This means a change for the Grey Bruce OPP Detachment: they will now be overseen by a new Joint Police Services Board. Recruitment is now underway for Elected Officials and community members to join the board. The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula Council appointed Councillor Laurie (Smokey) Golden as the elected official on Monday, January 8, 2024.
We are now accepting applications for Committee Members to join the Board!

Annual Volunteer Recognition Day

You may recognize a member, an executive, a team, a team player, a coach, a parent, a group, or a supporter, young or old—someone who deserves an expression of your appreciation.
Local groups and organizations must make nominations by filling out the online form or by emailing the Clerk, with their recipient selection(s) and name of the person making the presentation no later than:
Thursday, March 28th, 2024, at 12 Noon.
Each group will be allowed a few minutes at the Recognition Day ceremony to make the presentation to the selected recipient(s). The Municipality will present a certificate to each recipient; however, the group/organization is more than welcome to purchase a gift (plaque, flowers, etc.) which may be presented on behalf of the group/organization.

Winter Parking Restrictions | |
|
Winter parking restrictions are necessary to ensure snow removal operations can be completed safely and effectively.
On-street parking is strictly prohibited between the hours of 2:00 am and 7:00 am from November 1 to April 30.
